This cable features a switch with a 6.5mm male spade terminal, that can illuminate a separate dashboard warning light when the choke is on (the knob is pulled out). 

The terminal connects to give continuity through the inner and outer cable. When the knob is pushed back in the connection is broken and the dash light goes out.
